Chorus North Shore is the oldest community chorus north of Boston and a leading arts organization on the North Shore.
Chorus North Shore traces its beginnings back to 1931, when singers from four choral groups came together to present a Christmas concert at the First Congregational Church in historic Rockport, Massachusetts.
Called "the premier chorus of its kind north of Boston," Chorus North Shore has grown in size, talent, and repertoire to become a leading arts organization on the North Shore. Despite its prominence, the chorus still prides itself as being a true community chorus, with open enrollment to all who have a desire to present choral music of the highest caliber.
