The more I paint, the more I know. The more I know, the more I need to know. The more I know, the less I know. That is why I paint. I was 40 when I finally got to art school and I haven’t looked back. I’m totally absorbed by the creative process, because what is in my heart doesn’t always come out on the canvas and when it does, that is a success and always the quest. I value most the freedom to explore what ever strikes my fancy. When I lived in the woods I painted in a muted palette. Now I live in a light filled house by the sea and my palette has grown bolder. I paint my everyday experience wherever it takes me. I try to keep the critics at bay. And paint what I love. I hope you enjoy my work.
